 DETAIL

 Pinetree Fiber Art

I made my own loom for the background. I took a canvas meant for painting and removed the canvas.
After which, I  hammered in a row of nails across the top and bottom. The fabric is only ripped strips of
cotton muslin. The  pieces were also only tied together.

The two images I created with free motion sewing. Embellished with buttons, a piece of waxed thread wrapped around a small pine twig.  The frame is made from apple branches. Not a perfect piece, but good enough for me at the moment. It is not meant  to be sold. The fabric has a lot of loose threads, which  I like the added look.
